1. Kraken Dark ‘N’ Stormy

This Kraken cocktail is a classic–with just 3 ingredients, the Dark ‘N’ Stormy is a spicy refreshing cocktail. It’s the perfect summer cocktail. Invented in Bermuda, this easy drink has two key parts – dark rum (the “dark”) and ginger beer (the “stormy”).

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum and 3-4 oz ginger beer over ice. Squeeze in juice of half a lime, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve in a highball glass.

2. Black Daiquiri

Of all the different Kraken cocktails out there, the Black Daiquiri is one of my favorites. This Kraken drink is one of the easiest cocktails to mix. The Black Daiquiri uses dark rum instead of white rum.

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz of Kraken Black Spicied Rum, 1 oz of demerara syrup, and 2 oz of lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well, then strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

3. Kraken Black Mojito

I’ve got the perfect cocktail for a Kraken night in this Dark Kraken Mojito. A Kraken Mojito made with spiced rum adds a new twist to the classic. This minty Kraken cocktail reveals its blackened soul. It’s distinctly dark and delicious.

Easy Recipe: Muddle mint leaves, 1 oz lime juice, and 1 oz simple syrup in a glass. Add 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, top with 3 oz soda water, and stir. Add ice and garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.

4. Kraken Meister

Kraken Meister mixes the spice of Kraken Rum with herbal-y Jägermeister. This Kraken cocktail is a killer drink for anyone who likes their drinks strong. I love the blend of spicy flavor from Kraken with the botanical flavor of Jäger!

Easy Recipe: Fill a rocks glass with ice, then pour 1 oz Kraken rum, 3/4 oz Jägermeister, and 1/2 oz lime juice. Top with Coke and garnish with a lime wedge.

5. Paper Tiger

Paper Tiger is a Negroni variation that uses Kraken dark spiced rum, Carpano Antica, and Campari to increase the spice. This Kraken cocktail has a bitter and sweet taste with a tropical flavor.

Easy Recipe: Combine 1 ½ oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, ¾ oz Carpano Antica, and 1 oz Campari in a mixing glass with ice, then stir and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist

This Kraken cocktail blends rum and pineapple juice, a splash of soda water, and nutmeg for a refreshing tropical sip. It’s sometimes enhanced with creamy coconut for a tasty piña colada twist.

7. Honeysuckler

The Honeysuckle Cocktail is a variation of the Bees Knees cocktail. It’s a Kraken rum cocktail that’s sweet, sour, and refreshing, with a balance of earthy sweetness, a little spice, and lime.

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 parts Kraken® Black Spiced Rum, 1 part Fresh Lemon Juice, and 3/4 part Honey Syrup (1:1 honey to water) with ice in a shaker, then shake well. Fine strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a sage leaf.

8. Kraken Hot Toddy

I fall in love with this Kraken cocktail the more I mix it. The Kraken Hot Todday is the best warming drink! It is a delicious rum hot toddy with lemon, honey and cinnamon. The best alternative to cold medicine!

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1 tbsp honey, 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice, and 6 oz hot water in a heatproof glass or mug. Stir well and garnish with a lemon wedge and a cinnamon stick.

9. Krakaccino

The Krakaccino is the best cocktail for coffee and rum lovers. Kraken Rum is perfect for mixing with coffee liqueur, especially after a meal.

Easy Recipe: Mix 1 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1/2 oz Irish Crème Liqueur, and a cup of hot coffee. Garnish with coffee beans and whipped cream for an indulgent finish.

10. Kraken Perfect Storm

This Kraken cocktail is best served over ice with a lot of lime! It has the perfect combination of spicy dark flavors with Kraken Spiced Rum and Ginger Beer, no matter what the weather.

11. Kraken’s Keep

This Kraken drink was literally made for boozy brunches. I just love the garnishes in this Kraken cocktail!

Easy Recipe: Mix Kraken Gold Spiced Rum, orange juice, and fresh pineapple juice. Build over ice in a rocks glass, and stir well. Garnish with orange peels, a pineapple spear, and a torched cinnamon stick.

12. Kraken Piña Colada

Kraken Colada is similar to a piña colada, however instead of using white rum, the cocktail uses spiced rum. It’s perfect for those who love Kraken rum cocktails or those who want to experiment with piña colada riffs!

Easy Recipe: Blend 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 2 oz coconut cream, 3 oz pineapple juice, and 1 cup of ice until smooth. Pour into a tall glass, and garnish with a pineapple wedge.

13. Kraken Rum and Eggnog

Kraken spiced rum pairs well with eggnog. This Kraken cocktail is blended with spices like cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. It has a distinct aroma of caramel, toffee, and spice, with flavors of cinnamon and vanilla. 

It’s one of my favorite rums to mix with eggnog. 

Easy Recipe: Combine 1 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum with 4 oz eggnog in a glass filled with ice. Sprinkle with nutmeg!

14. Kraken and Coke

Kraken & Coke Cocktail: only two ingredients, and yet so tasty! This Kraken rum and coke drink is rich, strong, black, and smooth. Rum and Coke is a classic seafaring combination — generations of salty seadogs have grown up on it.

Easy Recipe: Fill an Old Fashioned glass with ice, add 2 ounces of Kraken Black spiced rum, fill the glass with Coke, and garnish with a lime wedge.

15. Kraken Rum Punch

This Kraken Rum Punch is great as a cocktail for one or a party punch for a crowd. This tropical Kraken rum punch cocktail is made with rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, and orange juice. Bottoms up!

Easy Recipe: Combine 1.5 parts Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 3 parts orange juice, 1 part pineapple juice in a punch bowl with ice. Garnish with an orange slice.

16. Kraken and Orange Juice

Kraken Rum and orange juice is a simple combination for a sweet and tart flavor with hints of spicy. The sweetness of the OJ melds well with the Kraken Rum. I use Tropicana but you can also use fresh squeezed orange juice.

17. Sea Monster Mai Tai

The Mai Tai is one of the most famous Tiki drinks. Composed of Kraken rum, orange curaçao, fresh lime juice and orgeat (a nuanced almond syrup). This drink is a celebration of Kraken, with nutty notes from orgeat, and a tart kick of lime juice!

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 0.5 oz Orange Curaçao, 0.75 oz Lime Juice, 0.5 oz Orgeat, and 0.25 oz Ginger Syrup in a tiki mug or rocks glass. (Optional) garnish with a mint sprig, lime wheel, and cherry.

18. Kraken and Ginger Ale

This Kraken cocktail made with ginger ale is the perfect combination! This spin on the Dark and Stormy has a subtler ginger flavor. Using ginger ale instead of cola, is sweet, spicy and refreshing! Need I say more?

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz of Kraken Black Spiced Rum with 4-6 oz of ginger ale in a rocks glass or highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

19. Doc Oc

Another Kraken cocktail is the Doc Oc. It’s a dark pirate with a fiery spice, embraces the bubbly whimsy of Dr Pepper, creating a sweet storm in your glass. Dr. Pepper tangos with Kraken rum for sparkling cherry-spice surprises in every sip.

Easy Recipe: Stir 1 part Kraken Black Spiced Rum with 3 parts Dr Pepper in a tall glass filled with ice.

20. Kraken Sour Punch

Personally I think Kraken Sour Punch is great Kraken cocktail. It’s a party punch for a crowd–or a cocktail for one. It features Chambord and egg whites.

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz Kraken rum, 1 oz Chambord, 1 tbsp lime juice, and 1 egg white in a shaker. Shake well, then strain into a rocks glass.

21. Kraken Bomb

The Kraken Bomb is a popular bomb shot made with Kraken rum and Red Bull (I use diet). It has a dark flavor, much like the sea monster the rum is named for. When I want some vitamin C, I add in a squeeze of fresh lime.

Easy Recipe: Combine 3 parts Red Bull to 1 part Kraken black rum in a shot glass. Garnish with an optional lime wedge.

22. Krak-O-Lantern

The Krak-O-lantern cocktail, a more savage way to enjoy pumpkin season. It is distinctively dark and delicious. This Kraken cocktail features brown sugar syrup, allspice dram, pumpkin butter or canned pumpkin pie filling. Trust me—try it this Halloween!

Easy Recipe: Combine 1 part Kraken® Black Spiced Rum, 1/2 part brown sugar syrup, 1/4 part allspice dram, and 1 tbsp. canned pumpkin pie filling in a glass coffee mug. Top with hot water, stir until mixed well. Garnish with grated cinnamon.

Kraken and Lemonade combines the spiced darkness of Kraken rum with lemonade. This Kraken cocktail has a bright lemon flavor and is less about the booze and more about citrus-y flavor.

Kraken spiced rum’s warmth wraps you in island sunshine. Bold and spicy Kraken rum mingles with creamy banana liqueur, creating a smooth, decadent drink that’s perfect for cozy nights in.

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 parts Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1/2 part Banana Liqueur, and 1/4 part Demerara Syrup in a mixing glass. Add a pinch of sea salt, stir well, and strain into a glass filled with ice.

25. Kraken and Root Beer

Root beer goes great with Kraken rum. Kraken’s bold spice dives deep, then pops back up with fizzy root cheer. It has only a two ingredients–I highly recommend using A&W brand root beer.

27. Kraken Espresso Martini

The classic Kraken Espresso Martini gains extra intensity from the dark, rich Caribbean flavor of Kraken Rum. With coffee liqueur and fresh-brewed espresso, it’s deliciously indulgent.

Easy Recipe: Shake 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1 oz espresso, 1 oz coffee liqueur, and 1/2 oz simple syrup with ice. Shake well, then strain into a martini glass.

28. Kramble

This super seasonal Kraken cocktail is bursting with blackberries. I like to add extra, fresh lemon juice to mine. Cheers!

Easy Recipe: Muddle 4-5 blackberries in a rocks glass, then combine 1 3/4 parts Kraken rum, 1/2 part Crème de Cassis, and 1/4 part lemon juice in a shaker tin with crushed ice. Pour over the muddled blackberries, top with more crushed ice, and garnish with additional blackberries.

29. Kraken Passionfruit Daiquiri

The refreshing Passion Fruit Daiquiri is my favorite Cuban-inspired cocktail featuring Kraken Rum to shake up at home. Adding the fruity twist of passion fruit adds depth of flavor that takes this drink to a new level of YUM. 

Easy Recipe: Shake 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1 oz passion fruit puree, 1 oz lime juice, and 1/2 oz simple syrup with ice. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

30. Kraken Crush

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Kraken mixed with orange soda, but it tastes amazing.  Kraken’s Crush cocktail–it’s the only thing the Sea Beast love’s crushing more than souls.
