I’ve collected the very best two-ingredient tequila mixed drinks to sip!

1. Tequila Screwdriver (Tequila and Orange Juice)

A simple yet effective way that I upgrade my morning OJ!

Easy Recipe: Mix 2 oz of tequila with 6 oz of orange juice. Serve in a tall glass with ice, and garnish with an orange slice if desired.

2. Ranch Water (Tequila and Topo Chico)

Have you tried a Ranch Water? Let me introduce you! It’s equal parts thirst-quenching and satisfying – a simple highball cocktail for any time! I recommend a good silver tequila. 

Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz of tequila with 4 oz of Topo Chico mineral water and a squeeze of lime juice. Serve in a Long Drink (or Collins) glass with ice and a lime wedge garnish.

3. Paloma (Tequila and Grapefruit Soda)

I love margarita, but if you ask me, this easy paloma cocktail is just as good! It’s sweet, sour, and refreshing–a real thirst quencher!

Easy Recipe: Mix 2 oz of tequila with 4 oz of grapefruit soda, and garnish with a grapefruit wedge. Serve in a Collins glass.

4. Batanga (Tequila and Coke)

A popular mix of tequila and Coke, known for its fruity and caramel flavors! I have also made this with a lime for a Batanga cocktail.

Easy Recipe: Simply mix 1.5 oz of tequila and 4.5 oz of Coke in a glass filled with ice. Feel free to add a lime wedge for an extra zesty kick. Serve it in a highball glass with a salted rim.

5. Brave Bull (Tequila and Kahlua)

Tequila and Kahlua come together in a fun and simple cocktail known as the Brave Bull—also known as a Black Russian with tequila. I sip it–don’t slurp this one.

Easy Recipe: Add 1 part Kahlúa coffee liqueur and 2 parts tequila blanco to glass with ice, then mix.

6. Tequila Slammer (Tequila and Ginger Ale)

This Tequila Slammer is made with tequila and ginger ale. I actually think that muddling extra lime in the glass is lovely–I always have limes in the fridge. I also make sure to chill the tequila, ginger ale, and even the glass!!

Easy Recipe: In a highball glass filled with ice, pour 1 oz tequila and top off with 4 oz ginger ale. Gently stir. Squeeze and garnish with a lime wedge.

7. Tequila Soda

I recommend a silver or blanco tequila. I use a lime flavored sparkling soda water–I like the added citrus taste.

Easy Recipe: Mix 2 oz of tequila with 4 oz of soda water, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve in a highball glass.

8. Charro Negro (Tequila, Coke & Lime Juice)

The Charro Negro is a simple mix of blanco (or silver) tequila, cola, and fresh lime juice. I LOVE this easy mixed drink!

Easy Recipe: Mix 2 oz of blanco tequila with 4 oz of Coke and 1/2 oz of lime juice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

9. Tequila Sour (Tequila and Sour Mix)

When life gives you sour mix–make this 2-ingredient Tequila Sour! Move over Margarita! I highly recommend adding fresh lemon juice too. It’s what I used here. 

Easy Recipe: Pour 2 oz tequila, 4 oz store-bought sour mix, and 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice (optional) in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well, and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.

10. Tequila and Pineapple Juice

A tropical escape in a glass – just close your eyes and imagine the beach!

Easy Recipe: Simply mix 2 oz of tequila with 4 oz of pineapple juice, and pour it over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a pineapple slice and mint (optional).

11. Bloody Maria (Tequila and Bloody Mary Mix)

When mixed with Bloody Mary mix, tequila transforms into the bold and flavorful Bloody Maria variation.

I use a tequila that mixes well with fizzy sodas, such as Reposado tequila or a versatile Blanco tequila. I highly recommend using a fresh cherry–or a Luxardo cherry in 2-ingredient tequila drink recipe.

I like to use Snapple Iced Tea in mine. But you can brew fresh sweet tea as well.

I’m taking a shortcut for a two ingredient Paloma version that is just as delicious!
